WELCOME

The ORU Outreach Ministries programs - Community Outreach and Missions -  are a key component of the university's mission to send students to the uttermost bounds of the earth, displaying God's light and power in every man's world. Students have the opportunity to experience diverse cultures and lifestyles while investing their skills into God's eternal purpose.

This year, more than 30 mission teams will be traveling across the United States and around the world, trained and equipped to minister to those in need.  Trips are scheduled from one week to two months.  Spring break trips include Argentina, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, New York and St. Louis.  One month trips include China, India, Japan, Kenya, Kosovo, Romania, Tanzania, Uganda and Ukraine.

Community outreach teams do the work of the Kingdom week after week and reach the city of Tulsa with the light of the gospel.  Community outreach teams help organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers & Sisters, Hope for the Homeless, Adopt-a-Block and Children's Medical Center.
