Empowering Students On The Quest For Wholeness

ORU seeks to educate students who are on a quest to become whole leaders who desire to develop a healthy, character-driven lifestyle that sets the standard in society and enables them to thrive in life.

We are looking for well-rounded students who dream of furthering their education, where they will emerge as servant leaders who are spiritually alive, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, socially adept and professionally competent.

Through participation in a Quest Leadership Event, admitted students will secure their Quest Whole Leader Scholarship offer, with the potential of increasing that scholarship to an amount ranging to full-tuition. Students who receive consideration for a scholarship will demonstrate the following: Christian Worldview, Lifestyle of Service, Academic Achievement, Leadership Ability, Vision to Make a Life-Changing Impact on Others and a Healthy Lifestyle.

I love the focus that the university has on what’s really important, and that’s a relationship with Jesus.

It was an amazing experience for me, coming from a public school, where I was just kind of surviving. People are so much warmer and encouraging to each other.

It is a phenomenal, Spirit-filled atmosphere on campus. It has blown my mind more than I could have imagined.

I have a couple friends here who really care about my spiritual life, and they want to see me grow. I really hold them dear. They keep me accountable, and they’re always there for me.

  • Manuel Cruz

As a young Christian male, it has been great to be with other people who have the same experiences and struggles and are striving to know God. I just feel like, these are my people. This is my community.

  • Natalie Reed

There is obviously the focus on academics, but with ORU they really care about you as a person.

  • Noah Kreitz

I think being a whole person is really important in life, especially as a Christian. I want to continue to grow myself into being a whole person, and ORU is helping me do that.

  • Omar Farfan

My classes, even if they’re not biblical, all bring it back to God. For example, in my introduction to theater class, we talk about being a critic. We talk about how you can use your faith, but you also have to bring in the outside world and see how they see things.

  • Vonny Kumala

ORU has been a whole new experience, not just educationally but culturally. I think it will help me to be a successful person.
