Empowering Students On The Quest For Wholeness

ORU seeks to educate students who are on a quest to exemplify a whole person lifestyle in that they are desirous of developing not just intellectually, but emotionally, spiritually and physically.

We are looking for well-rounded students who dream of furthering their education, where they will emerge as servant leaders who are spiritually alive, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, socially adept and professionally competent.

The Quest Whole Person Scholarship Program has been established to recognize students who are tireless on their quest for wholeness. Scholarship recipients will demonstrate the following: Christian Worldview, Lifestyle of Service, Academic Achievement, Leadership Ability, Vision to Make a Life-Changing Impact on Others, and a Healthy Lifestyle.

One thing I love about ORU is the people here. Everyone is just super nice, which I think is rare. I think it’s the whole person thing—the students trying to live out the whole person [philosophy]. It just makes everyone so friendly.”

  • Josh MacPhee

This university is so focused on God that it's not just a university. I don't plan on coming here just to get an education or diploma. My reason for coming here is of course to get an education but also to grow so much in God.
