The Graduate School of Education serves over 650 adult professionals through non-degree seeking Professional Development tracks, Master of Education degrees and Doctor of Educational Leadership degrees. Many of the educational professionals participating in our programs are teachers, K-12 administrators, consultants, professors, and Postsecondary administrators. Adult learners are coming from all over the world to be a part of the ORU Graduate School of Education experience!
All of our programs are designed for the adult distance learner. The primary and favorite delivery system for the course offerings has become an intensive, but enjoyable 4-day module class format. These modules have extensive pre and post assignments, simulations and dynamic in-class discussion. A unique strength of the program is that the students contribute national and international perspectives.
In addition to the module format, some courses are offered Online and through projects and internships. Our unique distance learner centered format is fully accredited through the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
