The Graduate School of Business offers two distinct master's degrees with several concentrations. Our students are highly motivated, purpose driven, and consistently perform at the highest level relative to their peers at other institutions, earning scores that rank ORU as high as the 90th percentile on the MajorField Test for MBAs offered by Educational Teaching Service, Inc.
Determining Which Degree to Pursue
Differences between the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management (MMGT) programs
- The MBA degree focuses on quantitative aspects of business while the MMGT degree is less quantitative but highly qualitative.
- The MBA degree can be enhanced by addition a concentration in seven different ares while the MMGT offers three concentrations.
- The MMGT degree provides students with a broad business edcuation in management while the MBA degree offers specialization in business administration.
- The MBA is a traditionally offered degree while the MMGT degree can be completed through a distance learning format or through traditional learning.
- Each of these programs are open to students with any undergraduate degree. Leveling courses may be required (please view each degree to see what classes are considered prerequisities.
Standardized Test
The College of Business does not require any standardized test scores for admittance. However, MBA students wishing to pursue academic scholarships will need to take one of the following tests:
Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)
Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
National Field Test with ETS
