Computer Requirements For Specific Majors

Foreign language students should have installed French, German, or Spanish writing/Proofing tools for MS Word, as well as the appropriate foreign keyboard configuration. They should also have the latest version of RealPlayer, QuickTime, and Macromedia Flash player.

Art (Graphic Design) students need a computer with at least 1 GB RAM.

Online Learning students must have a DVD-CDRW, a printer, and access to a scanner. Quick Time is also required, and scanner software (if the scanner is owned).

Communication, Arts and Media students with a major in Media Communication and a concentration in MultiMedia Production enter this program in the junior year and are charged approximately $3,100 lab fee to cover the purchase of a specialized computer.
