ORU Among the Best for Online Communication Degree

Tulsa, OK – Oral Roberts University is ranked in the top 25 in the country for its online Bachelor’s degree in Communication according to the Guide to Online Schools https://www.guidetoonlineschools.com/degrees/communications#best-value. ORU is the only Oklahoma university on the list.

The ranking is based on affordability, academic strength, and several other criteria including regional accreditation.

“Oral Roberts University is pleased to receive this recognition that highlights the quality of our online Communication degree—a program that emphasizes the latest innovations in communication,” said Dr. Mark Hall, Dean of the College of Arts and Cultural Studies.  “Online courses also provide various opportunities for our students to gain expertise in the field. Our students are in demand in various venues once they complete this degree.”

Oral Roberts University strives to meet the highest academic standards and offers a plethora of opportunities to both traditional and non-traditional students. ORU recently announced a significant gift to its Communication and Media Department. The $600,000 gift will allow the University to increase staffing in the department, develop new curricula that will challenge and encourage students to engage in the communication culture, and provide for the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment that prepares graduates to thrive in the new media environment.

As well as Communication, ORU offers online courses in a variety of other majors, including Business Administration, Human Resource Management, School Administration, and Marketing. All courses are accredited and courses are offered with the option of a bachelor’s, master’s, or certificate degree.
