ORU Senior Psychology Majors Win First Place at the Oklahoma Psychological Society Academic Bowl Competition

Six representatives from the ORU Behavioral Sciences Department attended the annual Oklahoma Psychological Society conference held on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK. The final round was between ORU and East Central University, with ORU winning 14-2. 

ORU students Chad Crowe, Whitney Doyeto, Jeff Fox, and Ben Hase made up the team; all four students made significant contributions. Emmi Galfo attended as an alternate member and the faculty advisor was Dr. Andrea Walker.  

Naomi Bock's senior paper was selected for presentation during the morning sessions. She presented her topic "Sexual Identity Development among Sexual Minorities as Influenced by Religious Valuative Frameworks" and fielded questions from conference participants.
