World wide, there has been a noticeable increase in the amount of spam in recent months. To address our growing challenge with Spam, we are implementing a new Spam filtering software package. This new system is called BARRACUDA. This gives us a tool to better manage our email system while at the same time giving you, our users, a great deal of control over your own email. This new software should do a better job of filtering out a large majority of the spam we have been getting while at the same time give you the option of creating your own "white list" so that important emails don't get snagged by the filter.
