2017 IS OFF TO A GREAT START!
We want to thank every ORU parent who joined us for Parents Weekend on Jan. 20 and
21. It was an honor to have you on campus so you could spend time with your sons and
daughters and learn more about their lives at ORU. We hope you will come back soon--or
attend another ORU event that's happening in or near your home.
Speaking of events...there are plenty coming up this spring! Check out the list below and make plans to join us.
The Alumni Association Board of Directors election will take place Jan. 27-Feb. 24. All ORU graduates may vote. There are openings in each of the class segments (1968-79, 1980-89, 1990-99, 2000-09, 2010-2019) and in the At Large segment. An e-mail with a link to the online ballot will be sent out on the 27th. Learn more about the Alumni Board here.
Update on THE $50 MILLION 50TH ANNIVERSARY COMPREHENSIVE CAMPAIGN
ORU celebrated the grand opening of the beautiful new Global Learning Center on January 11. This building will help make Spirit-empowered whole person education more accessible to students worldwide. Work on the new ONEOK Sports Complex is also moving forward. This will be a wonderful facility for our track and field athletes and our tennis teams...and for the community. The next big campaign project is the apartment-style residence hall for upperclassmen.
There's a $55 million "stretch" goal, and at this point, we have received $49.3 million in gifts and commitments. You can help us finish this race; just click here if you would like to do so. Thank you!
