  • 90 percent acceptance rate into law school.
  • 93 percent pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for registered nurses.

  • In 2015, ORU's student advertising team placed fourth overall and was recognized for submitting the best media plan at the 2015 District 10 Student Advertising Competition.

Athletics Points of Pride

  • Golden Eagles compete in 16 NCAA Division I men's and women's varsity sports.
  • In 2015-2016, ORU had a school record five student-athletes earn Academic All-American honors.
  • In 2015-2016, ORU crowned three All-Americans; two in indoor track & field and one in outdoor track & field.
  • ORU has produced 91 All-Americans in the last 19 years.
  • During that same period, the Golden Eagles have won 147 conference championships and made 81 NCAA Tournament appearances.
  • ORU won seven individual Player and Coach of the Year awards from the Summit League during the 2015-2016 season.
  • The baseball team posted a 4-1 record against Big 12 teams during the 2016 regular season and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 17th time in as many seasons as members of the Summit League including wins against Auburn and Mississippi State.
