Librarians can answer questions regarding the ORU Library collection, services, and research, assistance with refining search strategies, and help finding valid, reliable information sources on the Internet. For hours and contact information, see the Ask-A-Librarian web page.
ORU Library Databases
Library databases help researchers identify and access journal articles, e-books, and other electronic resources.
Use subject research guides for links to subject-related article databases, sample searches, ebooks, ejournals, reference books, and more. Some guides include senior paper research tips and many include strategic subject-related search tips and examples. The general library resource guides provide research tips, library information, and user aid for other general resources.
ORU's Online Library Catalog
Search ORU's library holdings through the online public access catalog. Books, eBooks, periodical titles and holdings, audiovisual, and microform collections can be searched by subject, title and author.
ORU students, faculty, and staff have access to ORU Library electronic resources 24/7 from any Internet connection. See Remote Access to ORU Library Databases for more detailed information. Help with Novell login and email accounts is available from the Student Help Desk (email@example.com or 918-495-6321) and in the Academic Computing Lab, GC 2A01.
