Originally from Arequipa, Peru, Professor Bustinza engages students with practical and theoretical frameworks that highlight the excellence in God through business activities. His professional background includes 20 years of business experience and ten years of university-level business teaching experience. His work experience encompasses the research and application of supply chain intelligence to facilitate the success of his former retail business in Peru. His skill in researching and understanding consumer behavior granted him various sales, recruitment, and customer retention awards. He has worked at ORU in various offices, including enrollment, student success, and the academic administration. Other experiences include his development of a customer relationship management (CRM) database and reporting suite system using researched best-practices. His most recent work includes extensive business research for compliance, business intelligence, sponsored research program facilitation, survey administration, market development, and program ideation and implementation. Other activities include consulting work for campaigns in cross-promotions for large and small businesses. He has also served as researcher for international prospectors, bridging the business gap between the U.S. and Peru. He also provides professional presentations in business and education in Peru. Academically, he graduated with various honors at the undergraduate level and received recognition from the graduate faculty as the ACBSP student leader and GBA president during his time in the ORU MBA program. Current industry partners value and return for competitive intelligence research he leads through class projects.
