What do you love about ORU?
What I love the most about ORU, would the people that compose the university, from students, to staff and professors. During my time at ORU I fell in love with the diversity the university offers. Professors that have impacted my life and helped me grow throughout my time here. Friendships that I will cherish forever that have blessed my life in so many ways. But I fell in love the way ORU is a home away from home especially when you are an international student. ORU is great university that meets not only the academic needs of any student but it also helps you grow spiritually and prepares you for the working place. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity of coming to study at this great university.
What activities were you involved in at ORU?
During my time here at ORU I was involved with the International Center and the International Relations Department. I really enjoyed being part of the International Center and being able to help other international students get adjusted to their new home. I was able to grow and learn more about the world and how to meet other people’s needs and to think about others before myself. With the International Relations Department I was able to be part of different development and missions trips. I learned a lot about the different countries that we visited and also how to carry God’s light were His light is dim.
What's your favorite thing to do in Tulsa?
Tulsa offers so many different areas to relax. I love being able to visit new places and be open to do different activities like jogging through the city park at riverside or enjoying a cup of coffee at one of many unique coffee shops.
