Whole Person Scholarship

Statement of Purpose

ORU seeks to educate students who exemplify a whole person lifestyle in that they are desirous of developing not just intellectually, but emotionally, spiritually and physically.

We are looking for well-rounded students who dream of furthering their education, where they will emerge as servant leaders who are spiritually alive, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, socially adept and professionally competent.

The Whole Person Scholarship Program has been established to recognize students who model the Whole Person concept. Scholarship recipients will demonstrate the following:

• Christian Worldview
• Lifestyle of Service
• Academic Achievement
• Leadership Ability
• Vision to Make a Life-Changing Impact on Others
• Healthy Lifestyle

Whole Person Competition 1: October 28, 2010
Nomination Deadline: September 15th
Application Completion Deadline: October 1st
RSVP Deadline: October 15th

Whole Person Competition 2: November 19, 2010
Nomination Deadline: October 15th
Application Completion Deadline: November 1st
RSVP Deadline: November 12th

Whole Person Competition 4: March 3, 2011
Nomination Deadline: February 1st
Application Completion Deadline: February 11th
RSVP Deadline: February 18th

To be considered, the nominated student must be admitted to ORU.  Applicants may apply online or submit a traditional application.
