Whole Person Scholarship

Statement of Purpose

ORU seeks to educate students who exemplify a whole person lifestyle in that they are desirous of developing not just intellectually, but emotionally, spiritually and physically.

We are looking for well-rounded students who dream of furthering their education, where they will emerge as servant leaders who are spiritually alive, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, socially adept and professionally competent.

The Whole Person Scholarship Program has been established to recognize students who model the Whole Person concept. Scholarship recipients will demonstrate the following: Christian Worldview, Lifestyle of Service, Academic Achievement, Leadership Ability, Vision to Make a Life-Changing Impact on Others, and a Healthy Lifestyle.

Students Living Abroad

Students who live outside of the United States and who are invited to participate in a Whole Person Scholarship Event may request a phone interview in place of attending a Whole Person Scholarship Event on the campus of ORU. Students may request a phone interview by emailing admissions@oru.edu.
