The "Physical" Library

You are acquainted with Library jargon, organization, and policies, but what about the library environment? The environment is covered in two sections: "physical" and "electronic."

The “physical” ORU library is located on the 4th and 5th floors of the Learning Resources Center and the library entrance is on the 3rd floor.

Tangible resources and services such as ORU special collections, print and audio books, periodicals, DVD's and other audio-visual materials, librarians, computers, and Interlibrary Loan make up part of the physical library.

This section gives you a map tour and explains important locations in the Library. Your tour begins on the 4th floor in the main area of the library, continues in the Reference Room, Periodicals Area, Electronic Resources Center, and then finish on the 5th floor.
