Library Policies:   Miscellaneous

The library is a quiet area so groups should study in the GC pit area, or in a dormitory study area.

Do NOT reshelve materials after you use them. Library student assistants are skilled at reshelving materials correctly thereby making items easy to find.

The correct way to take a book off the shelf is to push in the two books on either side and then grasp the book in the middle of the spine. This is especially important for books that are used consistently, such as those in the Reference Room.

For library service hours refer the Library Web page or the posted times in the library.
