Periodicals: Using the Journals List

Finding periodicals at ORU is an easy process. As previously noted, all periodical titles are listed in the Journals List, with links to records in the ORU Library catalog and links to the electronic text.

On the ORU Library page, click the Journals List link.

On the Journals List page you can search a title several ways.
  • Search an exact title, part of a title, keywords in the title, and more.
  • Browse the alphabetical list by clicking on the alphas.
  • Browse titles by subject categories.

After you find the title check to make sure the dates you need are available.

Library holdings that are 'electronic' are listed under the journal name; holdings for hard copy (or items in the 'physical' library) need to be checked using the 'Oral Roberts University Library Catalog' link.

The link 'Oral Roberts University' indicates that the title is available in a hard copy format, on microform, or on CD-ROM. It is located in the "physical" library.

Click a database name or the ORU Library Catalog link. To get the title you need, check the dates first then click on the database name to access the journal.

Choose a date to view the full text articles. (Note: When you try to access the journal, if you are not logged in you will be prompted to do so. Use your Novell login.)
