Finding Materials
|

|
Access
Before
we begin to look for materials you should
know something about access.
Are
you an off-campus student?
Your
Novell login, assigned by ORU, is the
"essential" login required
to access ORU online electronic resources
from off-campus. Once you are logged
in you can access any of ORU's databases.
You only need to login once for access
to all of the ORU databases.
To
access ORU Electronic Resources:
- Go to the
ORU Library page <www.oru.edu/university/library/>
- Click the Databases
link.
(You may also choose another form of
navigation, such as Guides
or Research Resources.
Whenever you attempt to access ORU's
resources you will be prompted to login.)
- Complete the login, when prompted.
If you
chose the Databases link,
from the alphabetical list,
click any database name for
access.
Novell
Login Windows
|
There are two different
Novell login prompts
(windows) that may pop
up depending upon where
you login. Though the
windows look differently,
they have the same function.
Most likely, when you
access from off-campus
you will get the second
login window.
Do
you know your Novell
login?
Does
it work?
If you need assistance
with your Novell login
and/or password, you
may contact Steve Duclos
in the Academic Computing
Lab.

Although
the library attempts to provide
information that is current
and accurate, please note
that the library, databases,
logins, etc. are very dynamic
environments and occasionally
a link may not work as instructed
in this tutorial. If this
tutorial is part of an assignment
and you encounter a link error,
make a note of the error and
continue. Try the link at
a later time.
