Your Accounts and Logins

As a currently enrolled student, you may already be familiar with two logins assigned by the University: Vision, for administrative type information; and Novell, used for your ORU email and remote access. (In some cases, your email login may not be the same as your Novell in which case you have three logins.)

In addition to those accounts or logins assigned by the University, as you begin your research you will find that several databases allow you to set up personal accounts within the database for easier information storage, retrieval, access, and more.

You will be better able to utilize library resources when you are familiar with and use some of these special database features.

• explain briefly the uses of your Vision and Novell accounts/logins and
• help you to create some personal database accounts and logins for easier, more efficient and effective researching
