You must complete the Registration Form
for Distance Learner Library Services
(DLLS) unless you have already registered
this year in the library.
Your current validated ID must be presented
at every checkout session when on campus.
A student ID number (Z number) may be
submitted when requests are submitted
electronically or via the postal mail.
You should identify yourself as a Distance
Learner/Modular Student.
You are the only person authorized to
use your ID to borrow library materials.
You must re-register each year you attend
school.
Regular Library Hours:
7:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday
7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Friday
12 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Saturday
3 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Sunday
*Summer, holiday, and Reference/ERC hours
may vary.
Distance
Learner Services Hours:
9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday –
Friday (Central Standard Time)
Loan Period
Checkout
is 28 days for items from the main collection
and CMC/AV.

Loan
periods for items in the Reserve collection
on the fourth floor range from 1 hour
to 4 days.

You
may check out up to 20 items. 3 of
these may be Reserve items while on
campus.

DVDs
may be borrowed while on campus for
3 days.

DVD
players may be borrowed for in-library
use only for 4 hours.

Materials
may not be taken from Reference, Periodicals,
or the Holy Spirit Research Center.
Renewals Reserve
items cannot be renewed. Other items may
be renewed except in these situations:
- item is on hold for another patron
- item has reached the maximum allowable
renewals
- you have a fine or other block on
your library account
Items are renewed for 28 days from the
day you make the request. You may request
renewals in person at the Circulation
desk, call or by e-mail. You should ask
to speak to either:

Late Charges
- Materials from the main collection,
CMC/AV: $0.20 per day per item
- DVDs: $3.00 per day
- Reserve materials:
- 1,2,4, hour checkouts: $0.60 per
hour
- 1,2,4, day checkouts: $1.00 per
day
Items 28 days past due are considered
“lost.” The computer assesses
a minimum of $50.00 fee for each lost
book ($40.00 minimum for replacement plus
a $10.00 processing fee).
A block can be placed on your account
for any of the following reasons:
- outstanding library fines
- overdue materials still out
- address verification
- expired ID card
Blocks must be removed before checking
out or renewing books.
