Find Works "by" ORU Students  

Print copies of theses, dissertations and Dr. of Ministry projects by ORU students, are shelved in a special area in Reference Room, LRC-4th floor. Additionally, the later two are available free full text online (ORU Novell login required for access).

Use the ORU Library Catalog

The Library catalog provides bibliographic information, including the call number, and a link to free full text online (in Dissertations and Theses @ ORU, see below), when available.
Note: Older works, such as those from the 1980's, have not been digitized and are only accessible in print format.

Search: Choose Subject Keyword > type applied research projects > browse the result list. Or, use Advanced Search to enter applied research projects and other search terms, such as author and title keyword.

Once you find a work:
  • Record the call number to locate the print copy in the Reference Room.
  • Or, click the full text link in the record.

Provides free online access to dissertations and theses submitted by Oral Roberts University and published in Dissertation Abstracts database. Includes abstracts, 24-page previews, and full text in PDF format, when available. more info...

Theses/Dissertations/Applied Research Projects in this database are included in the ORU Library Catalog (with full text links provided). However, there are more search options available in the database than in the catalog.

Refer to the Thesaurus of ERIC Descriptors (also available in print, all number Z695.1.E3.E34, LRC-R). The thesaurus contains more than 10,700 vocabulary terms for education and includes narrower terms, broader terms, and related terms.

Provides abstracts and 24 page previews for each dissertation title in the database published after 1996.
