Look for books from the main collection:

In the library catalog, search subject keyword or subject headings using general terms.
For example, if you are interested in social life during Biblical times search: Jews social life and customs or Jews history.

Look for periodical articles:

Search your topic in an appropriate database such as ATLA Religion Database with Serials, Christian Periodical Index, Old Testament Abstracts, and New Testament Abstracts.

To find a particular verse when you know a key word. Call number section BS425.
