  MMY ‘s can be used to locate reviews and descriptions of English language tests. “Guides” for use are taped inside the front covers. MMY can also be searched on the Internet. (See below.)
• Tests in Print (TIP)- Call number Z5814 .E9 B82 LRC-R. Comprehensive indexes.
  TIP lists all tests that are currently available from publishers. Some listings have cross-references to MMY reviews. TIP can be used as an index to the contents of Mental Measurements Yearbooks. “Guides” for use taped inside the front covers.

  Provides current information on assessment instruments. Does not review or evaluate tests; provides concise, easy-to-read descriptions.
• Tests in Counseling Practice – Call number BF176.T425 LRC-R
  “Demonstrate[s] how tests can be used effectively for counseling healthy or well functioning clients.” Knowledge of test and measurement concepts is necessary for use.

Educational Testing Service (ETS) Database

Includes ETS/ERIC Test File, Test Review Locator, CEE/ERIC Test Database and, Buros/ERI Publisher Locator. The reviews are not at this site but in the MMY’s or Test Critiques. This is merely a means of searching. Search for publisher, address, phone numbers, and sometimes URL’s. Tests may be purchased from the publisher but usually through a licensed psychologist/psychiatrist only. Some tests are in the CMC and Behavioral Science departments.
