Since the use of ORU databases is restricted to ORU students, faculty, and staff, for off-campus access you are required to login with your ORU Novell username and password when prompted.

Once you are logged in you have access to all ORU databases.

Note: Access to the Library Catalog, Research Guides, and Tutorials does not require a password. However, if links to electronic resources are provided you will be prompted to log in.

     

As part of the ORU community, you can access the Library's electronic resources 24/7 from on or off campus!

What's available?
—More than 28,000 full text periodicals
—90 dynamic databases
—Two ebook collections that contain nearly 40,000 ebooks
  1. Go to the Library home page <www.oru.edu/university/library>
    (Or, go to www.oru.edu, choose Academics > Resources > click Library.)
     
  2. On the Library page, click Off Campus Access under Research Help.
    (Or, choose a Research Guide, the Journals List, Central Search, etc. Then, if you are off-campus simply log in using your Novell* username and password when prompted.)
     
  3. Select a database and begin your search.

*For your Novell username do not include the dot (.) or the @ symbol and what follows. For example, if your Novell username is jdoe3456.03, then your username is jdoe3456.
