The Acquisitions department Book Repair Section is located on the fourth floor of the Learning Resources Center at Oral Roberts University. Our mission is to preserve library materials. The repairs we perform incorporate techniques that will not damage the item over its useful life and retain the original integrity of the item being treated whenever appropriate. Some of the techniques we apply to materials are: cloth spine repair, inner hinge repair, spine and hinge repair, tip-in pages, paper repair, Kapco covers, and thermobinders.
