College Courses for Parents
For the Parents of homeschooled Children
Now through the Oral Roberts University School of LifeLong Education, you can take college courses in homeschooling through correspondence study. Each 16 week course is comprised of 3 major assignments and a final exam which will develop practical skills that equip you to homeschool with confidence!
HED 372 Homeschool Administration and Organization 3 credit hours
Developed and taught by a homeschool parent, this course focuses on techniques useful in the administration and organization of the homeschool including setting goals, scheduling and time management, lesson planning, student discipline, teacher training, record keeping, and legal issues.
HED 302 Homeschool Methods, Materials, and Media 3 credit hours
This course examines materials and methodologies uniquely suited to the homeschool setting. The student will also be introduced to books, organizations, and other contacts that may serve as useful resources in the development of a Christian homeschool program.
