Microfridge Leasing Instructions
Completion of this process will ensure the delivery and understanding of appropriate terms of use for this appliance. Please proceed completely through the following steps in order to obtain a Microfridge unit for the school year:
Step 1: Approval – Student Development; LRC 2nd Floor
Students must submit documentation from their doctor indicating health and/or medical necessity. Upon approval from the Dean of Men or Women’s Office, the student will sign a Microfridge Contract and receive a verification card.
Step 2: Student Accounts – GC 2 ˝ West
Take a copy of the approved exception form and make payment in Student Accounts.
Step 3: Housing Office – CRH 1 East
Bring your contract and receipt of payment to the Housing Office where you will submit these forms and complete a Microfridge Lease Agreement. The Housing Office will arrange for delivery of your unit within 24 to 48 hours of agreement completion.
Step 4: Residence Hall
Delivered unit must be checked into the student’s room by the Resident Advisor. Verification card received in Step 1 must be affixed to the unit at all times. A Microfridge unit check-out will be conducted at the end of the semester or upon termination of the contract.
Please NOTE: During Fall and Spring Registration weeks, representatives from Student Development, Student Accounts, and Housing will be centrally located in the Graduate Center to better expedite this process. Once Registration week has passed, steps must be completed through the locations listed above.
