Creating corporate advantage in a dynamic competitive environment is the core purpose behind the Organizational Dynamics Program. Students receive advanced training in: the use of business technology, understanding internal and external organizational dynamics, coordinating consumer behavior and demand patterns with core competencies of a company, and how to think and manage creatively with marked innovation in the midst of all levels of competition. This program is designed to equip graduates to be agents of change capable of producing optimal results. Coursework incorporates goal setting, idea generation, team building, and development of leadership skills, preparing graduates for success in management, whether in a small business setting or a Fortune 500 corporation. Students are also taught how to maintain a Christ-like perspective in motivating and leading employees while achieving corporate objectives.

Prerequisites
Master of Management students will be required to participate in a leveling program that demonstrates proficiency in the core business components of accounting, finance, management, marketing, and the business legal environment; unless, they have already completed these proficiencies in undergraduate coursework. Condensed programs in the areas of these competencies are available through the ORU School of Business.

Students learn how to create customers by perceiving needs, developing creative solutions, maximizing motivation, resolving conflict, and ultimately closing the sale! Coursework incorporates: the use of business technology, the art of sales marketing and communication with potential customers, coordinating consumer behavior and demand patterns with core competencies of a company to achieve optimal sales results, and how to think and manage creatively with marked innovation in the midst of all levels of competition. Further emphasis is given to goal setting, idea generation, team building, and development of leadership skills, preparing graduates for success in management, whether in a small business setting or a Fortune 500 corporation. Students are also taught how to maintain a Christ-like perspective in motivating and leading employees while achieving corporate objectives.

Non-Profit Administration
This program gives students advanced training in the creation and/or management of non-profit organizations. The non-profit sector is continually growing and needing the leadership expertise of individuals with training in specifically related issues. Professionals leading a hospital, school, service organization, church, or ministry will benefit from this course of study.
Students in the Master of Management Non-Profit Management program may choose either a residential or distance education format. The two-year distance education option involves a combination of one-week, on-campus modules and Internet classes.
Those wishing to receive training in non-profit issues without completing the full master’s degree may take the five courses listed under Non-Profit Management Concentration, and receive certification in Non-Profit Management. As with those pursuing the Master of Management degree, courses are available in both residential and distance education formats.
