Dr. Marshal Wright

Interim Dean & Professor, Business

A member of the Board of Directors for both Covenant Federal Credit Union and the International Christian Foundation, Dr. Wright earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from Oral Roberts University and his Juris Doctorate and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Regent University. Dr. Wright's Ph.D. is in Organizational Leadership with a Cognate Emphasis in Business, and he was awarded the Outstanding Doctor of Philosophy Graduate in the School of Leadership. Dr. Wright has been elected to Who's Who in American Education both as a professor and as a student. In his role as a faculty member, he has received numerous awards related to innovation in the classroom, incorporating technology in the classroom, and service. He has published numerous articles as well as a book in the area of Estate Planning, is involved in extensive research in Nonprofit Leadership and Development, and has presented several papers at national conferences. Dr. Wright also serves as an advisor to the Oral Roberts University Graduate Business Association.

 

Dr. David Dyson

Professor, Management

A member of the Academy of Management and the Southwest Academy of Management, Dr. Dyson earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration at Oral Roberts University. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resource Management at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Dyson has been elected to Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who in American Education. He has over twenty-five publications and has conducted various seminars and conferences in Africa, India, and Albania. Dr. Dyson served as Dean of the School of Business for nine years.

 

Dr. Julie Huntley

Associate Professor, Marketing

Dr. Huntley received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Oral Roberts University and her Doctor of Philosophy in Marketing from Arizona State University. Dr. Huntley is a member of the American Marketing Association. She has been honored as an IBM Research Scholar and the IBM Global Services Doctoral Research Fellow. Dr. Huntley has had several articles published in the AMA Summer Educator's Conference Proceedings. She was the Outstanding Faculty Member of the School of Business in 2003 and has been recognized by her peers for accomplishment in Faith Integration and Writing across the Disciplines. In 2004, Dr. Huntley was awarded and earned tenure status, beginning in 2005.

 

Dr. Walt MacMillan

Professor, Management

Dr. Rinne Martin

Professor, Finance

Dr. Martin received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from the University of Tulsa. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Cincinnati. In 1998, Dr. Martin was awarded the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award. During his recent sabbatical, Dr. Martin researched various stock investment programs.

 

Dr. James Russell

Professor, Business

Dr. Russell is a native Oklahoman, earning his first two degrees at Oklahoma State University. His Doctor of Philosophy was earned at Virginia Tech University. Dr. Russell is a seasoned veteran in the classroom, having taught at University of Maryland, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Florida. He has been recognized with 10 teaching awards. Dr. Russell has also been successful in research, having worked on grants totaling more than one million dollars. The Board of Regents granted tenure to Dr. Russell beginning in the fall of 2005.

 

Terry Unruh, MBA, CPA

Assistant Professor, Accounting

Professor Unruh has been recognized on three occasions as the University's best professor, the year of 2004 included. His education has been achieved at Oral Roberts University where he earned both the Master of Business Administration degree and the Bachelor of Science degree. He also serves as the Tulsa Coordinator for the Becker-Convissor CPA Review.

 

Dr. Chin Choo Robinson

Assistant Professor of Marketing

For fifteen years, Chin Choo Robinson served in middle and senior management in the fast-paced, change-oriented media environment in Asia. While with the leading television network in Singapore, she developed and managed the training program for the 170-member sales and marketing division concurrently with her sales and marketing responsibilities. She spearheaded numerous business development projects with million-dollar revenue targets. She was Head of Marketing Services and Research for two years, and was the network's Vice President of Sales & Marketing before she left for the United States to pursue her doctoral studies. In addition, Mrs. Robinson was the Marketing Manager with a travel and financial services group reporting to the London headquarters. Currently, she is pursuing completion of her dissertation work with Oral Roberts University in the area of student engagement in online learning.
