Required for All Freshmen and Transfer Students
New connections, new roommate, new friends, new classes...starting college is a new beginning in just about every way. The two-day Harbor event is the time when you will meet student leaders, discover what college life is all about and connect with the Tulsa community, all before you begin classes. Parents are welcome too, and there are sessions designed especially for them.
This is your time to really connect with the campus community, learn about ORU's history, mission and vision and begin your college life in a memorable, enriching way. Commuter students are urged to join us and engage with what's going on around campus for the entirety of this event. Getting things started by making connections between residential and commuter students alike will enhance your experience here at ORU. You will get off to a great start at Harbor for your first year at ORU.
As part of Harbor, you will meet and hang out with several other new students and student leaders; they are your Crew for the fall semester.
