Oral Roberts University Presents Computers to Oaks Indian Mission

As a result of an offering given during chapel services, Oral Roberts University is donating 10 computers and a printer to the Oaks Indian Mission in Oaks, Okla. Students from ORU's College of Science and Engineering will also be visiting the mission to get the computers up and running for the mission students. The Oaks Indian Mission is a community of faith that provides children in need a safe and loving home while preparing them to be healthy, contributing adults.

During chapel on Nov. 18, President Mark Rutland made a presentation to Oaks Indian Mission Board President Edward Gibeau and several students from the facility. The money to buy the gift was raised through donations collected during twice-weekly chapel services from the students, faculty, and staff of ORU. These donations are used exclusively to fund missions projects.
