Professors’ Research Becomes Published Paper

Dr. John Korstad has had a paper published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. Dr. Korstad, biology professor, worked with two colleagues from Banaras Hindu University in India on the paper titled “High Yield and Conversion of Biodiesel from a Nonedible Feedstock (Pongamia pinnata).” The paper discusses the use of the oil from the karanja seed, which grows naturally in many parts of India, in making biodiesel.
