Dr. Hal Reed and 11 junior and senior biology and chemistry research students participated in the 98th Annual Technical Meeting of the Oklahoma Academy of Sciences at East Central University in Ada, Okla. on Nov. 6. Seniors Stephen Knier (Dr. Hal Reed, research mentor) and Christina Tolomeo (Dr. Robert Stewart, research mentor) each presented a poster on their senior research projects, and four other students gave oral research presentations: Derek Afflu, Maame Sompa Otabil, Carolina Rodriguez, and David Bulger, each under the guidance of Dr. Joel Gaikwad.
