Oral Roberts University will present the ORU Wind Ensemble in concert on February 23 at 7:30 pm in Timko-Barton Performance Hall on the ORU campus.
Come and experience the Oral Roberts University Wind Ensemble for a special event featuring “A Symphony of Prayer” by J. Eric Schmidt. This symphony consists of four movements: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. In the first movement of the program the Wind Ensemble will perform a tuba concerto by Edward Gregso. ORU junior, music education major, Walter Ensign will be featured as the tuba soloist. To add to this event George Washington’s birthday will be honored by John Philip Sousa's "George Washington Bicentennial March.” Expect to be awed by this bold and expressive work.
