Tulsa, OK – Oral Roberts University is bringing a vibrant and passionate worship experience
to the St. Louis area on Sunday, March 31, 2019. ORU LIVE will perform at Faith Family
Church in Shiloh, Illinois. The worship team will perform at both morning services
and then lead worship training sessions in the afternoon before leading a night of
worship beginning at 6:00pm.
ORU LIVE includes students from a variety of backgrounds and majors who all have a
passion to see lives transformed through prayer and worship.
“We believe as we use our creative gifts to minister to others, we in turn find our
lives transformed through worship,” said Kristen Thomas, Director of ORU Worship Center.
“We want young people across the country to experience the power of the Holy Spirit
just as ORU students do during every chapel service on campus.”
ORU LIVE leads worship twice a week during the University’s regularly scheduled chapel
service. You can watch live or view past chapels at oru.edu/chapel. The talented group
of musicians and singers also lead Campus Worship events, and hold a Team Night on
Mondays for students to learn how to facilitate a worship atmosphere, run effective
rehearsals, write songs, and understand the theology of worship.
