When:   Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Why:     To Celebrate Cultural Diversity

Tulsa, OK – As a part of its annual Global Week, Oral Roberts University is once again presenting Culture Fest, an afternoon on-campus festival that showcases the vast diversity and unity among the 100-plus nations represented among ORU’s student population.

Students will be able to participate in a variety of cultural displays including an indigenous culture fashion parade, a flag parade, and a host of booths representing each continent. At each booth, students will also be able to interact with other students representing their respective nations and will also get a chance to be exposed to the foods, traditions and languages of each nation. This year, the event will feature Jamaican dishes, as well as authentic representations of Greek, Mexican, and Asian cuisine.

In addition to these booths, there will also be live music from a variety of cultural perspectives. T-shirts will also be given to the first 500 students who attend.

This is an amazing opportunity to be able to experience the vibrancy and diversity of the cultures represented on ORU’s campus, as well as enjoy spending time with friends and family.
