Credit Where Credit Is Due: College of Business Re-Accredited for Ten-Year Term

Hcob_excellenceas it been ten years already? After a lengthy and comprehensive process that took several months, the ORU College of Business was just re-accredited for a new ten-year term by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs.

"The re-accreditation process takes place every ten years, with quality assurance reports submitted every two years," explains Dr. Julie Huntley, Dean of the College of Business. "Our entire team worked diligently behind our ACBSP Champion Dr. David Dyson to continue our tradition of excellence and carry on the vital work we do."

To achieve re-accreditation, the College of Business hosted an assessment team of three evaluators last fall. This team spent three days meeting with students, faculty, alumni, staff, and representatives from the Tulsa business community, utilizing all these interviews to perform a thorough examination of the College of Business.

Best of all, the College of Business was awarded re-accreditation with no conditions. This means that ORU's College of Business stands as a high-quality academic program with a specialized accreditation that enhances our brand and reputation.

The re-accreditation continues the long lineage of excellent academics in the College of Business ever since it received its first accreditation in 2007.

Thanks for coming by, ACBSP. See you in another decade.
