apore – Oral Roberts University (ORU) is excited to announce a partnership with Singapore-based
Marketplace Leadership Institute, an international organization equipping business
people with biblical principles of leadership. ORU President Dr. William Wilson and
Marketplace Leadership Institute (MLI) Chairman Dr. Wee Tiong Howe signed a Memorandum
of Understanding at the Mandarin Orchard Hotel with a crowd of dignitaries in attendance.
Over 70 guests from government, business, education and ministry sectors representing North America, Europe and Asia witnessed the signing of the bilateral agreement after a time of worship and prayer.
“We are very excited about this new opportunity to partner globally and train lay
people for ministry in the marketplace,” said Dr. 
Wilson. “It is our passion to bring wholeness, grace, and love to all areas of business.”
“Marketplace Leadership Institute equips church and business people alike with biblical leadership and business principles so that they have the confidence and ability to take on their role as marketplace leaders, said Dr. Howe. “We work with many notable advisors and have created courses and seminars to train those leaders.”
With this agreement, Spirit-empowered leaders from ORU and MLI will coordinate curriculums and seminars to provide the best training possible.
“It’s a commitment to work together so that we are able to grow together and empower those in the marketplace and Christian communities to change the world,” said ORU Provost Dr. Kathaleen Reid-Martinez. “We are excited about this opportunity to build a relationship to extend Whole Person Education to the ends of the earth.”
