Tulsa, OK – Oral Roberts University does not currently have any students from the seven countries under President Trump’s executive order on immigration. A few of ORU’s international students have expressed concerns about what this could eventually mean for family members or friends. “We stand with our students and also support our nation’s attempts to protect its citizens through a thorough vetting process,” said ORU President William M. Wilson. “Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the ban, particularly those who are trying to escape war and hardship.” Dr. Wilson went on to say, “We are a global university with 90 nations represented and will continue to work with U.S. immigration to do what’s best for the United States and for those seeking an education here.”
