Why: To Celebrate Cultural Diversity
Tulsa, OK – Oral Roberts University is hosting Culture Fest this week. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the vibrancy and cultural diversity of the ORU campus. The university has students from 90 different nations. Many of them will help us learn about their cultures and what makes them unique. The week is highlighted on Wednesday with Culture Fest Celebration Day. From 4:30 to 7:30pm, there will be several artistic and cultural presentations including a fashion parade, flags parade and cultural dances.
On Tuesday, October 4, 2016, Department of State Diplomat-in-Residence, Mr. Robert
Andrew, will be visiting the campus. He will be speaking to students and faculty about
careers overseas in different cultures at ORU’s International Center. He’ll also speak
in the International Relations class, a government class, and have coffee with International
Relations students in the History, Humanities, and Government Department.
