Developing Whole Leaders for the whole World

Ignite Freedom

Ignite FreedomTulsa, OK – Oral Roberts University alumni are working to end sex trafficking around the world and will come together Friday evening, September 23rd, from 6:30-9:00pm to talk about their work. The university will host “Ignite Freedom” in Christ’s Chapel. The event is open to the public and all are welcome to come and learn more about these groups and how they’re making a difference in the world.

Headlining the event will be Unlock Freedom. They will focus on the trafficking of people right here in the United States. Their presentation will include several powerful stories from victims of trafficking.

Dalit Freedom Network is another organization created in 2002 to end the oppression of the Dalit people in India who are considered untouchables in society.

The third organization is SOS (Sowers of Seed) International which works to prevent child sex trafficking and to rescue and rehabilitate trafficking victims. The initiative provides care for women and children that have been trafficked, but also rescues children before they can be trafficked.

And finally Joy International will talk about “Rescue, Restoration, Reintegration and Prevention.”

We know your deadlines are tight, so you are welcome to come at 5:30 and interview those who work in these organizations. Please let us know if you are able to come, so we can alert security and facilitate interviews.
