ORU Quest to Host Sales Seminar

ORU Quest, a division of Oral Roberts University, will host a Sales Seminar at the Mabee Center on September 22, 2015. The seminar will address business-to-business tactics to improve sales performance.

Attendees will learn advanced strategies on how to find and retain clients, hire top-notch sales employees and improve negotiation and communication skills through implementing a High Q selling strategy. High Q selling is infused with neuro-science, behavioral science, value science and more. Speakers David and Ginny Simons will teach attendees key skills to success including: communication, questioning, empathetic listening and relationship building.

David and Ginny Simons co-founded Growth Performance Systems to help clients achieve a greater level of success. They have spent the past 18 years helping small
and medium-sized businesses maximize their potential by establishing a sales-driven culture which puts clients first and stresses execution at every level. The couple also authored “Discovery Selling: The Roadmap to Sales Success” and “Squirm to Learn: If You’re Not Squirming, You’re Not Learning.”

David Simons has been a salesperson and sales manager and spent over twenty-five years of his professional life in broadcasting. He specializes in methods to increase employee engagement. He has also contributed articles to numerous trade and business publications as well as the Tulsa World. He has earned the Certificated Radio Marketing Consultant designation and is a member of the Oklahoma Speakers Association. He most recently received certification in Axiogenics and utilizing the Value-judgment Intelligence Quotient (VQ) profiling system.

Ginny Simons has an extensive professional background as an award winning educator, sales trainer and management development specialist. Utilizing her strong background in education and her experience in coaching, mentoring and assisting business leaders, she has broadened her perspective and works in an integrative manner with business leaders who seek to maximize their potential. Additionally, she has appeared on several national radio and television programs, including CNN, and was recognized by the Oklahoma Supreme Court for Outstanding Leadership.
