ORU Online Program Named Among Best Online Bachelors in Christian Ministry Degrees

Oral Roberts University has announced that its Online Bachelors of Science in Church Ministries has been named among the 20 Best Online Bachelors in Christian Ministry Degrees in the nation. ORU’s church ministry degree program ranked number nine, positioning the program among the top 10 Christian Ministry programs in the nation.

"It's a great honor for our undergraduate Christian Ministry degree to be among the nation's top 10 best online programs,” said Sergio Matviuk, dean for ORU's College of Online and Lifelong Learning, “I'm grateful to the leadership of Dr. Thomson Mathew, dean of the ORU College of Theology and Ministry, to our outstanding online faculty, and to the ORU Online team, who have worked faithfully to create excellent programs for our students."

This recent achievement for ORU Online is one more in a recent series of recognitions the division has received this year. ORU Online was ranked number four in the Top Ten Online Colleges in Oklahoma by BestSchools.com, and was ranked as one of the Best Online Colleges of Oklahoma for 2015 by AffordableCollegesOnline.org.

"Reviews by Independent organizations provide valuable evidence on the quality of our programs and services for students,” said Provost Kathaleen Reid-Martinez. “We believe that the ORU Online Christian Ministry program, based on the ORU signature whole person approach to education, offers an unparalleled learning experience. "

The criterion used by TheologyDegrees.org to rank the Best Online Christian Ministry Programs are identified on the organization's website. Criterion include, "Publicly available data about cost and length of the program, a percentage of need met through non-loan financial aid, freshman retention, and completion rates," among others.
