ORU Announces 2015 Class of Graduate Quest Fellows and Scholarship Program Winners

Prayer TowerOral Roberts University is proud to announce the 2015 class of Graduate Quest Fellows and Scholarship Program winners. The university reviewed applications from around the globe to fill the open positions. Fellows include Oluwatosin Noiki, Dean’s Fellow in the Graduate School of Business; Carolyn Stubbs, President’s Fellow; Amanda Wilson, Dean’s Fellow in the Graduate School of Education; Heather Wright, Dean’s Fellow in the Graduate School of Theology and Ministry.

Fellows will have the opportunity to enhance professional skills in their field and work on special projects for the ORU Provost and the Deans of the College of Business, College of Education and College of Theology and Ministry. Fellows will receive full tuition and a $15,000 stipend. The scholarship is renewable for up to three years towards a full-time graduate degree at the university.

The Graduate Quest Fellows and Scholarship Program awards students based on the following: Christian worldview, lifestyle of service, academic achievement, leadership ability, vision to make a life-changing impact on others and a healthy lifestyle.

Noiki is from Abuja, Nigeria. He graduated from Covenant University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Previously, he taught chemistry at Faith Academy High School in Nigeria. Noiki also worked as a unit administrator for Cadbury Nigeria PLC and a product supervisor for PZ Cussons Nigeria PLC.

Stubbs, originally from the Bahamas, received her B.A. in English Language and Literature Education with a minor in Religion from Lee College. She earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She also serves as the co-founder and principal of The Remnant MiniVersity & Academy.

Wilson is from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from ORU and received her Masters of Education in Reading from Northeastern State University. She has taught at Oral Roberts University, Bacone College, Oklahoma State University and Lincoln Christian School.

Wright got her undergraduate degree in Music Education from ORU. She served as a vocal music teacher at Metro Christian Academy and Evangelistic Temple School. Wright has also served in Jesus Inn Ministries and at Heart Sounds International. She currently serves on the worship team at Tulsa Christian Fellowship.

The Graduate Quest Fellows and Scholarship Program offers various levels of scholarships to full time graduate students. In fact, 51 awards were made to new graduate students this year.
