ORU Announces Stenzel as CFO

Oral Roberts University President William M. Wilson has announced Neal Stenzel as Executive Vice-President and CFO for the university. Stenzel, an alumnus of ORU, will assume his new role on Monday, July 29, 2013.

“Neal’s integrity and expertise, paired with his love for ORU, make him a great fit for this critical leadership position,” said Wilson. “We will continue to work with financial integrity as we move forward with the global vision of the university.”

Stenzel worked for the “Big Four” accounting firm Ernst and Young for more than three years before accepting a Controller position at Braden Manufacturing in Owasso, Okla. Four years later, he moved to Callidus Technologies where he worked as CFO for 10 of his 17 year tenure. Stenzel also served as the secretary and treasurer on the board of directors at Callidus from 2004 to 2008. He has been actively involved with the management of GammaBrite LLC, a lighted sign company in Denver, Colo. and serves on the board at GammaBrite. 

“I am humbled and honored to join the team at Oral Roberts University,” said Stenzel. “The mission of ORU deeply impacted my life and I am excited to play a part in providing the excellent Christian education to students around the world.”

Stenzel graduated from ORU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1987. He earned his CPA designation in 1988.
