GEB America to Premiere Special on Moore, Okla.

Moore, OklahomaGEB America will premiere an original program featuring stories of survival and faith in Moore, Okla. The exclusive footage, titled "Moore, OK 2013," will air tonight at 11 p.m. CT on GEB America, Oral Roberts University’s national television network.

On Monday, May 20, 2013, Moore, Okla. was hit by a massive F5 tornado, which killed dozens and caused extensive damage to many neighborhoods, churches and businesses within the town. Many lost their homes, but amidst the rubble GEB America found an undertone of hope and faith.

“We are saddened by the recent tornadoes that caused so much devastation in Moore, Okla.,” said GEB America President Ossie Mills. “GEB America is proud to tell the stories of faith that emerged from this difficult situation. This exclusive program shows that God works even during our darkest hour.”

The GEB America special is hosted by Jeremy Burton, senior director for university relations and communications at ORU and Amy Calvert, GEB America vice president of marketing and sales. They spoke to victims who have amazing stories of survival, relief workers with Convoy of Hope and ORU students working to provide assistance to families who lost everything.

The GEB America program will have additional airings throughout Memorial Day Weekend.
