ORU Kicks Off Ignite Conference
Oral Roberts University is kicking off the first-ever Ignite Conference this evening, April 1, in Christ’s Chapel. Registration starts at 5 p.m. and the first session begins shortly after 7 p.m., with keynote speaker and ORU President Mark Rutland.
The conference will continue through April 3, 2013 and will showcase internationally known speakers including: Jentezen Franklin, senior pastor of Free Chapel in Gainesville, Ga.; Dave Martin, founder of Dave Martin International; Keith Moore, founder of Faith Life Church in Branson, Mo.; Sid Roth, host of “It’s Supernatural!”; Mark Rutland, president of Oral Roberts University; Charles Stanley, senior pastor of First Baptist Church Atlanta and the founder of In Touch Ministries; Stovall Weems, lead pastor of Celebration Church in Jacksonville, Fla.; Billy Wilson, president-elect of Oral Roberts University.
Musical guests include: Judy Jacobs, co-pastor of Dwelling Place Church International; Ricardo Sanchez, a Grammy nominated Dove award winning worship leader; ORU LIVE; and Souls A’Fire.
Ignite is for all believers who are called to the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ—from every walk of life, denomination, and generation. Attendees will hear from the Word, spend time in the presence of God and learn how to effectively minister in a hurting world. Ministry leaders will leave the conference inspired, refreshed and empowered with the tools they need to increase their Kingdom impact.
