Student Prayer Leaders Handle Thousands of Calls During “The Gathering at ORU”

During the live taping of “The Gathering at ORU” last week, student prayer leaders handled over 2,700 calls nationwide. These leaders ministered via telephone for a variety of prayer needs ranging from sickness and financial restoration to the salvation of family members.

“The Gathering at ORU” was an exciting week of ministry and music on the campus of Oral Roberts University. Participants heard from internationally-known speakers such as Bishop Henry Fernandez, senior pastor of Faith Center Ministries; Pastor Judy Jacobs, co-pastor of Dwelling Place Church International; Dr. John Muratori, senior pastor of Calvary Life Family Worship Center; Dr. Mark Rutland, president of Oral Roberts University; and Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer, senior pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church. They also heard from noted musicians Jared Anderson, Trent Cory, Anthony Evans Jr., Daniel Johnson and Micah Solomon.

During the broadcasts, information was shared about the world-changing work going on at ORU. Viewers were given the opportunity to contribute to the Quest Whole Person Scholarship program, which helps ORU raise up servant-leaders who share the gospel and spread God’s love and healing power in every nation.
