Oral Roberts University Student Releases HOPE EP

Hope EPCurrent Oral Roberts University student Brian Nhira is releasing his first Extended Play record, called HOPE EP. The EP exhibits five original songs written by Nhira and features inspirational music influenced by the sounds of contemporary Christian and pop.

“When the Lord put the vision of this EP in my heart it was a two-part vision. First, Jesus Christ came to this earth to be our hope, but he did not stop there. He has called and commissioned each and every single one of us to go out and be hope to the world around us,” said Nhira. “I believe that this EP is going to be used as an instrument of hope, healing, restoration, and empowerment in the lives of countless people!”

Nhira has partnered with IIID Young Adult group at Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, to host a release concert for HOPE EP. The concert will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 9:30 p.m. in the VBI building located at 81st street and Delaware.

Nhira is a junior organizational and interpersonal communication major at ORU, where he participates with the ORU Worship Center. He has booked over 400 events in nine states and was awarded best male performer at the FAME Branson show choir competition his senior year of high school. Furthermore, because of his exceptional singing abilities he was selected as a soloist to perform at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
